Anybody have an update? Last time I passed it looked like construction had stopped.

I wouldn't be surprised. Ascension Parish building inspectors are tough to get approved and will stop a job for days.
I passed by a few days ago and it looked like no work going on then either. WTH? Maybe they are waiting on another draw of money. Who knows.

Idk. Haven't really thought about it. Sno's has some loyal customers, but they'll have to lower their prices or improve their food or something. Sno's has never been worth the money to me.
I do know there is a shitload of BR import people living in big subdivision houses around here just DYING to have some place to eat seafood without having to go back to BR, and sammy's is something they are familiar with. That place is gonna be slammed all day every day for a long time.

Same here. Every time I consider going there. I think to myself that I can go to Mike Andersons on Hwy 30 for the same money and enjoy substantially better food.

plenty of G-town people won't/don't come to Prairieville and vise-versa. Honestly can't think of the last person I talked to that had been to Sno's.
As for Sammy's they are still moving forward. Noticed the parking lot lights have been lit up, last month I was told by a manager/boss-type that Late-July was the target. I could see it happening.
I know that they pville people are being trained at the other locations right now.

I always go to hymel's just because I've always gone there and I know the owners well. I do vividly remember every time I've been to snos being very unimpressed by the food. I don't see em competing with sammy's.

I've only ate there a few times, and I have no complaints. Food and service were both very good. I don't see myself eating at the one in pville very often just because of how packed it will probably be.
I like hymel's better anyways. I can get rowdy in there and nobody looks at me strange
