I've played CoH on and off, could never get into PvP there for some reason. Mostly because Defenders that weren't rad weren't useful. I had a Kin/Dark.

I dunno, I thought the creators did that on purpose. All Professions had some type of farming in certain area builds. Later on with the ritualist and the spirit spammer builds were strait forward farming builds, the devs had to see that coming.

Never been accepted to a Beta. How do they usually select people to participate? Is it just random or is their a particular factor they look at?

I've signed up for a lot and gotten into about half.

different computers? I think it takes your MAC address during analysis...double regs may negate your chances

They try to pull a good sample size with different hardware quality. Most people who have signed up for Beta probably have high-end computers like I do, so that might decrease my odds of getting selected.
