These that yall are talking about being on netflix, is there an option to watch them subbed? I've tried watching a couple on there on my comp or something, but I just can't handle the dubbing.
Go to anime44 or animeseason. I cant stand watching dubbed anime. Voice actors in Japan are hired to fit a character exactly, not like here where they just put any voice to a character.

I agree with you on a lot of stuff, but say for Bleach. I think the American voice actors do a MUCH better job.

Does that site have an app for something like a Roku? I put that crunchyroll channel on my roku for anime, but I haven't tested it to see if there are options for subs. I know Fist of the North Star comes subbed though.

I thought the same thing about DBZ, but that was because I watched most of the episodes in english first. I will admit they did a good job on bleach, but only Ichigos voice is really good.

I dont know if they have an app or not and I dont know what a Roku is. All I do is go to the site and stream the shows.

Man that takes me back. Saturday anime on Sci Fi was good times. Still own a couple of those movies.

Yeah found that a few months ago after getting the craving to watch Akira. Comes in handy when I'm REALLY bored.

One more movie I'd like to mention called Memories that used to be on Netflix instant. It's three shorts directed by the director of Akira, Katsuhiro Otomo. If you can find it, I think it's worth a watch.

Anyone else see one with two young women who are PIs or something, and drive around in a amazingly detailed '68 Sheby GT500? All realistic - no demons, giant robots, etc. That show was fuggin awesome - haven't been able to find it anywhere in years.
All this anime talk got me determined to figure out what this was.
Gunsmith Cats. Manga and a 3-part OVA (me thinking of a series probably led me astray). Two lead female characters own a gun-shop and are bounty hunters on the side. Fantastic, very realistic OVA if you can find it.

Good news for all the Berserk fans out there:

Saw that. That would be pretty cool. At least a better treatment than what was given in the anime series. I don't think the movie has been doing well in Japan though. The numbers don't look that great from opening weekend, and they aren't showing it at many theaters I don't think. Hopefully, they also look at international sales when deciding what they do going forward because surely there are many in America and other countries that will spend money on it.

Just bumping this thread to share a new one I have been watching.
Noir
Basically a Jason Bourne type situation where this girl wakes up not knowing who she is. Turns out she is a badass assassin. Add a team up with another assassin and you've got a damn good show.
Its on Netflix. Just throwing out another recommendation.

Bump for any Berserk fans. I haven't been on top of my shite.
Egg of the King Part 2: The Battle for Doldrey Trailer
Also, Bluray/DVD for the first part is slated for May 23. So maybe a torrent will come out then.

Wanted to bump this to see if any Berserk fans might know where to find a copy of the movie online.

Bump because I updated the OP and this hasn't been bumped in a while.

There is now. Surprised no one mentioned Voltron in 7 pages.

This is an anime I will buy. I want them to keep making the movies, and to do that, they need to be profitable. That said, I will torrent it too...
