So much this. The game with Jibril was ridiculous and firmly cemented this as my favorite show of the season. Not to mention that the OP is god-tier and the ED is good as well (Episode 8's ED was god-tier was well though)

What a cliffhanger episode. What was Sora's final demand of Steph? That'll be the game changer in the end.

I wish I could just power through this show. It sucks I have to wait a week for each episode.

Watching that also. I skipped over it at first but r/anime had some good things to say about it so I gave it a shot. I'm enjoying it, outside of the fact that I want more of Frederica, the tsundragon. But she manages to disappear anytime anything important happens

Watched the episode they met her in last. Kinda figured that was what was going on. Liked her character though.

I'm gonna keep it going. And I like that Chaika's magic weapon is a fricking sniper rifle.

Pretty original.

I tried to watch a Hunter x Hunter a while back and got about 20 eps in before dropping it. I found it too boring. You watch it?

I watched the first episode a couple of nights ago. Seems interesting to me but it was only one episode so we'll see. A lot of people love it so I'll probably give it a chance. I started Fairy Tail a few weeks ago and ended up catching up in like a week

so that was like 180+ episodes

I'm kinda in the mood to rewatch Cowboy Bebop and Madoka, since I still need to watch the 3rd movie, which I've heard is depressing as hell. Also need to watch the Steins;Gate movie

Original or 2011 version? The currently airing version has better pacing for sure.

That's probably 2011. To me the first arc is the weakest but if you didn't like it HxH probably isn't for you.

I watched up until they rescued the assassin kid, Killua, and the lack if conflict just got boring. Maybe I'll try again later.

I find it hard to compare the shows that last 100+ episodes and the ones that last 24-26. I'll take the one season stories over the long shows any day.

Yeah that is the very end of the Exam arc. I'd say it gets better from there but it's a time investment.

Yeah the time investment usually isn't worth it.

The Yorkshin, and Greed Island arcs in HxH were awesome in the manga.
