It was clear as day when his teammates refused to help him up off the ground numerous times after he was hit that they were done with JJ. Even a Ref had to pick up JJ at one point because the damn Bama players were sick of picking his arse up off the ground.

you noticed that too?

Add me to the list. When it was 21-0, why not let him get some snaps? What would it hurt? He stuck it out through thick and thin. Never bitched, never complained. It was his last fricking game. Let him at least throw it a couple of times in the NCG after all he's been through, and leading LSU to an 8-0 start.

Wow. NOne of that sounded like whining to me. Just said he thought he could help and that he was ready if they wanted to put him in.

But don't worry, your boy JJ thought he played great.

I have a 40 plus year old mind, but after the shuffle pass int, I'm thinking I'm walking on that field toward the huddle and sending JJ to the bench on our next possession. Miles will have to call a time out to get me out of the game. That being said, if I'm 22, I'm probably doing just what Lee did, not a damn thing.

it's not likely Mettenberger goes 9-0 as a starter against that schedule

We will never know....would you have seriously expected Lee to go 9-0 before the season? Didn't think so.

I think JL is a class act and wish him all the luck but he is not a good QB IMHO.

Oh, he's even worse of a QB...In fact, it's almost an insult to quarterbacks to even call him one...my point was neither qbs are good...this has been know for almost four years and no one else has been given a chance during this failed experiment at the qb position....Thank god les doesn't have the opportunity to start either one of them next season.

Our fan base are the biggest idiots. I remember in 08 the student section would boo JLee whenever he would throw a int or step on the field. Everyone was crying for JJ. Guess we got what we wanted

Props to JL for sticking it out. Hope he gets a shot on a NFL roster.

Maybe the players outta be wahing about being denied a BCSNC ring by an underachieving hack of a QB and a coach's "Blindside" love for him at the expense of the team.

Oh wait, looks like they are.

Sucks when players say things that we are all speculating.

I bet our underclassmen Wrs were the only ones happier than me that jj is done.

It doesn't matter if Lee would have gotten even fewer yards... you make the change because the team knew that Jefferson's head wasn't in it. Even if Miles pulled Jefferson for 1 series it would have helped the team psyche.

And Lee should be inserted when the score was still 0-12.
