Voters choose between a team that has beaten 3 teams with a winning record and no conference chanpionship or a team that has beaten 8 teams with winning records and will have a conference championship. Seems pretty clear to those without crimson glasses.

I guess you need to say something to the voters. They must have their crimson glasses on!

Since the beginning of the BCS has a team ever beaten 3 BCS teams during the regular season. I know it's not a done deal but if West Virginia , Oregon and BAMA all finish up in BCS games LSU would have a nice resume. If LSU takes care of Georgia on Saturday and finish up 13-0 they should have earned the right to play someone they have not already beaten. I know BAMA is the 2nd best team and deserve to play in the Championship game but it still doesn't seem fair. I guess beat Georgia and time will tell.

Of course this is the order of importance for someone with the name "BamaOne"

Forget who you actually beat. Only WHEN and WHO you LOST to should matter

Are the coach's and harris polls released prior to the bcs standings being released like normal on the last week?

Seems like they'd want to keep those under wraps to make the suspense of the unveiling more dramatic, assuming OSU beats OU

If voters think OSU is the second best team, then that's fine. If voters believe Bama is the second best, but vote OSU #2 simply to avoid a rematch, then the BCS is a crock of shite.

You honestly think voters would vote OSU #2 simply to avoid a rematch and admit to it?

The goal is to pit #1 vs #2 in the BCSCG. Period. It's not about giving some inferior team a shot at a NC.

That's obvious. Insinuating OSU is "inferior" after comparing strenght of schedules and quality of wins between the Bama and OSU is a hell of a stretch if not completely wrong.

We destroy Bama if they get their rematch.

Honestly, Bama is the #2 defense in the nation behind us. Yes, BamaOne, y'all didn't earn a #1 spot by beating teams like Auburn, Georgia Southern (WHO HUNG 24 ON YOU IN YOUR OWN HOUSE, MIGHT I ADD), Kent State (4 interceptions). Your defense is pretty good, but compare the numbers. You've said it yourself, its about WHO you play. Who has Bama played OOC?

<---- This is how Bama fans make me feel when they plead for their beloved rematch that won't happen.

I used to say I wanted anyone but Bama because we already beat them, it wasn't "right", and they didn't deserve a second shot. Then, I thought about two scenarios:

1.) Witness Bama meltdown if OKSt jumps them. (Yay!) Then listen to the chest-thumping and whining about how they were the "better" team, but got screwed by Bama-hating voters for years. Nay, FOREVER. They'd probably get some neighborhood circular to crown them "champs" then make T-shirts commemorating the event.

2.) Witness Bama meltdown when LSU beats them AGAIN, only worse this time. (Yay!) Then, remind them FOREVER of that season some time back where we beat them twice in the same year, after they had the nerve to assume they would do better the second time around. Silly Bama.

I'm warming up to scenario #2. A victory by Bama would be hollow for them, at best (even they know deep down they have no business in NOLA, but their greed for new T-Shirts knows no bounds).

But a loss would rock Bama Nation like nothing since the Bear died or when they stopped selling that beef jerky in a snuff can. Man, that would be sweet.

Bring it, Bama.
