Look, it sucks that LSU may have to play an extra game and beat Bama twice for the title when they can stay home and would only have to beat us once, but that's the system. The invincible Patriots beat the Giants in the last regular season game before losing in the SB. The Lombardi is in NYC. That's the system.

That is playoff system, BCS is matter of opinion and out opinion in split if they win; simply logical.

Wrong.
Big difference is LSU beat Bama and had the tougher schedule. USC had neither and was a media hyped paper champion.

The situations are not even comparable. We didn't play USC once or twice, AP was part of the BCS component then it is not now.

I hate to tell everybody this and ruin your Saturday but USC sure as hell claims that AP title. What's worse is that the rest of the country outside of Louisiana recognizes it as well.

Interesting question...if the AP did decide to give LSU their National Title if Bama beat us, how many of you would actually consider this a national championship? Would you still go buy a t-shirt that says LSU 2011 National Champions?

Bama would love their rematch to be for the all the marbles.

You would be wrong. No way LSU, if SEC champion with its schedule and already beating Bama in Tuscaloosa would lose the AP if Bama wins the NC, giving LSU it's only loss. Maybe if Bama destroys LSU but that's the only way.
