I'm trying to find some info on the Poche's plate lunches at Boutin's. Poche's website doesn't work for me and don't see anything on Boutin's.
What types of lunches do they have and average price? I've heard you get a lot of food, but can't find what type it is.
Thanks

The Breaux Bridge one has crawfish etouffette daily and everything else changes. THey (Breaux Bridge) have pork stew, BBQ chicken, ribs, pulled pork, stuffed pork chop, and a few other things.
Not sure what the BR one does, but it's got to be similar.

I pick up lunch about once a week. price is about $9 bucks.
You get a main dish. Which is either etoufee, stuffed grilled pork chops, bacon wrapped chicken, or a beef stew. They also have fried fish, shrimp, and their fried chicken, when they have it, has crack in it.
The side you either get rice dressing, or rice and gravy, big portion, tastes good, not great. And they usually have either white beans, red beans, grean beans, or sweet potato's.
you get way too much food, its worth it

I have 3 places i go to for plate lunches.
Poche's, Jambalaya shoppe, and Bergeron's off of jefferson, near corporate.
Bergeron's is the best by far.

Does anyone know if the Poche's in BR serve backbone stew like the original?
Anyone who's a fan of plate lunches need to hit up the Chevron on Florida just east of downtown. They have great plate lunches and are the cheapest in town.

Yes. It's a plate lunch/ Diner/ Meat market.
Oh shite, and the place on Jefferson Is Bellue's, not bergeron's.
Bergeron's is in Lobdell, and is very good. But bellue's is my go to lunch place.
