111-1,372, Alex Johnson, Carencro, 18 TDs 12 ypc.
He has good speed, with great size and vision. His grades were in question earlier, but I was told they are getting in order. This kid is on Keiland Williams level coming out of his school IMHO. He didn't attend many camps over the summer, so he hasn't got the national attention like he should have. He is SEC Caliber.
154-1,234, Mallery Mele, Northlake Christian, 15 TDs
112-1,222, Nick Julien, Loreauville, 15 TDs
112-1,043, Anthony Thomas, De La Salle, 8 TDs
118-1,008, Tyre, Bracken, White Castle, 10 TDs
86-1,008, Jacoby Davis, Vermilion Catholic, 15 TDs
160-987, Trent Hargrave, Lake Arthur, 15 TDs
102-950, Mark Lewis, Livonia, 18 TDs
97-937, Patrick Landry, Abbeville, 8 TDs
93-934, Carlos Henderson, McDonogh 35, 11 TDs
150-929, Joshua Rounds, McMain, 12 TDs
106-918, Davante Williams St. John, 9 TDs
101-907, Derion Porchia, St. Mary's, 16 TDs
137-899, Micah Lavan, Elton, 4 TDs
101-892, Devin Eaglin, Westlake, 9 TDs
108-868, D'Andre Dartez, Cecilia, 7 TDs
94-867, David LaFleur, St. Edmund, 17 TDs
105-865, Christian Primeaux, St. John, 14 TDs

I doubt we take any either. I hope UL can snag him somehow.

I saw the kid play. I think he is great, I'm not sure if LSU will offer him.

He obviously doesn't have the calf size to be on that level.

Not trying to doubt that list or where you got it and I'm not sure if that is top Sr. Rushers but there is 1 huge abscense on that list.Carlton Perkins.Going into last week he was ahead of Johnson and I believe still is according to Sonny Shipp.Either way if not for grade issues Johnson may have been a real contender for an offer.Too late now it appears.Think some school will be very happy with him in the future.
Perkins has 143 carries 1448 yards 20 tds

You must be referring to the senior class leading the state because Carlton Perkins is leading the state in rushing and he's a junior.

If Davis can get his grades together he will be something special. He already has size and speed, and runs tough.

The Daily Advertiser Hates Carlton Perkins
Obviously you can't trust the sports section of a newspaper anymore

Perkins is also the leading scorer with 20 TDs, 3 two-point PATs, has the highest single game rushing performance with 25 rushes for 373 yards and the single game scoring lead with 38 points. Times Pic
He was supposed to have taken an un-official for the Kentucky game. Does anyone know if he made it and if he did, how it went?

Alex Johnson is a Senior so he has an extra year of development, but he is a much better looking prospect from a physical standpoint.
