in a standard league. I need a running back pretty badly and I'm wondering what kind of value you all think he can get me.

If it's PPR, I'd say Sproles, but there are some on this board that would call you an idiot if you did that...

Dez will probably be a stud this year. He clearly did not look 100% on Monday night, so do not base off that. Base it more off his week 1 performance where they had to switch from Cromartie to Revis cause he was burning the shite out of them.
However, Mendenhall is a very good offer. I would say yes for sure (assuming both players would have started for your team). Remember, Mendenhall was a top 10 pick in many leagues. His skills did not disappear.
