I have to say, the WVU posters this week are top notch. They are giving the Va Tech guys from 2007 a run for their money. They have thick skin yet defend their team passionately.

Kudos to you guys.

I wish I could go to Morgantown this weekend, but alas too much work. To the Tiger fans who go, please show the Eers how we tailgate, southern style.

Here's to a great game and hopefully a re-up of this series in the future.

The fact they can look the firing squad in the eye without a blindfold gets my respect.

But they really are in big heap trouble...not gonna be pretty

I'm kinda hoping they will be the 14th team and take up permanent residence in the SEC East. Surelly that's why the ACC accepted Pitt and Syracuse and not WVU (because WVU and the ACC already knew that an SEC invite was immenent). I'm no Big East football expert but short of basketball (although not by much) and GPA's, WV brings way more to the table than Pitt and Cuse.

We heard that last year and only lost by 6. (punt return for a td and fumble in our own end zone for another) when it was only like Geno Smiths 5th career start. We heard it against the almighty Boomer Sooners and from the Georgia Dawgs as well.

Granted this year we are thin at experience on both sides of the ball and trying grasp a new offense. That will be our major concern facing your guys tough D.

Missing Nield and your LB's should be tough to overcome as well when you are as light in the seat as your front 7 is. Exact same thing that killed Oregon against us. They were missing 3 down linemen and 2 linebackers from last year. They were light and just didn't have the depth, by the 4th quarter, they were like a punch drunk fighter. Ford finally sealed the deal on that long run. You guys have a really good team no doubt, but I think this is a terrible matchup for y'all. As a matter of fact if you guys sat down and drew up your worst fear, it would be somebody like us or Alabama, and to a slightly lesser degree Wisconsin. Power run teams with enough passing to keep you honest and Defense's that will absolutely tee off on a one dimensional offense.

We can play that game too. The WVU game was one of JJ's worst. He was 10 for 22 and 45% and a whopping 75 yards passing, 0 TD and 2 picks. The score for us would have been much better if JJ would have thrown a 150 yards and split 1 TD to 1 pick. Hell he threw an interception to double coverage directly to a WV cornerback. Some of y'all maybe hope that JL has the same RS freshman tendencies he had 3 years ago, but he doesn't. He led a night time victory in the swamp last year, and I'm sure y'all s stadium gets rowdy, but it's not anything these players haven't been through before.

Va Tech and WV fans think they are "southern". I live up here and it is laughable.

LSU is Southern style football in that dressed up, lots of whiskey, cheer your heart out sorta way.

WVU is Southern in that cutoffs, lots of meth, set your couch on fire sorta way.

I think a lot of our fans' idea of "dressed up" is a shirt with sleeves.
