1) what is the over/under on the teams that break 27 points?

2) the over/under on teams that get more than 95 yards rushing against your defense?

3) How many team get more than 320+ yards?

There are going to be teams that match up better schematically. Arky and Bama will probably be harder in terms of physicality. Chizik is proving to be a pretty good coach, so Auburn may be a challenge, especially with Dyer and some time to gel.

Richardson is a beast and they probably run the ball better.

Anyway, I gotta say that watching LSU's defense is almost as fun as watching Oregon's offense when it's clicking.

I am heading out to Georgia for work on November 3rd and will be watching the Bama/LSU game with an LSU alum. That is going to be one heck of a matchup.

Good luck going forward.

if you look at what MSU's offense was doing prior to this game... it really makes that Duck offense look even better

321 rushing ypg... vs 52 last night

I look more forward to seeing the LSU defense on the field than seeing the offense. Almost the exact opposite feeling watching the Saints during their Super Bowl run.

It's a weird feeling coming from the PAC. I was thinking to myself..."oh, well, the offense can punt so we can see the defense."

Richardson hasn't exactly had a great year rushing, plus we held him to 28 yards last year. Before this game Vick Ballard was the leading rusher in the SEC and 3rd in the nation rushing. Miss St is also one of the best rushing attacks in the country. Held them to 52 yards on the ground. Alabama's O-line also hasn't lived up to their expectations. IMO they were a better team last year.

half of those 27 were scored on LSU's prevent D after the game was not in doubt.. especially the last 7 pts (80-100 yds)

just sayin'

Meh. The defense was pretty exciting to watch too because they forced a TON of turnovers that year.

I will give you the last 7 points as it was 33-20. However, Miss St had a chance for a garbage TD and they couldn't make it happen. I take what we can get.

Likewise, Oregon got LSU at a "neutral" site with loads of time to prepare. Miss St. got you at home on a Thursday night on a short week.

Our offense is going to be sick. This is in no way saying that Oregon would be better in a rematch. I just think Oregon's offense is going to look very good this year, especially since the defenses in the Pac are looking subpar to this point.

I am calling your defense as exciting as the Oregon offense when it's clicking. Receive a compliment bro.

40-20.. ducks scored in final seconds right? But yes I would think 27 has a great shot of being the most scored on them this year

Yeah, Ducks score with 15 seconds left or so. It was a garbage score but those happen. It's merely a stats question.

I love it when we've got the D firing on all cylinders. That's when Les starts doing ridiculous shite. On-sides kick? No worries, the D has your back. Go for it on 4th? No worries, the D has your back. Then we start pounding on offense to wear the other team's D down, knowing that our D will keep their D on the field. Then the 4th quarter rolls around and we're picking up 10 yards a carry.

yeah 27 on this defense is pretty decent all things considered. I think Arkansas has a chance to get close to that but they are more pro style so we should match up well with them.

Welcome to LSU brand football, The defense is electric and the offense is meh. I will say I was happy with Lee tonight, the one pic he had was just miscommunication, he wasn't trying to force something.

As a major college football fan, I would actually like to see OU (oklahoma) and LSU go at it. I think OU is going to put a shellacking on FSU and be the front runner along with LSU. That would be one hell of a matchup: OU offense vs. LSU defense. Of course, Stoops seems shite his pants in bowl games.

I was hoping Lee broke LSU record for most throws without an int. That would've been a great story for a kid known for pick sixes.

As much hate as he had to feel from LSU "fans" over the past few years I am really really surprised he stayed around. Hopefully he avoided "fan" sites during that time. No matter what happens from here on out, he has to feel some satisfaction at sticking to his committment.

Errr, it was garbage time dude.

Lee is better off his back foot than DT is off of 3 feet. Spencer Ware is James' daddy. JK bud, but LSU will beat that arse again if the "O" comes back down south.
BTW: Your buddies claiming ya'll had us beat w/o the turnovers are delusional. Sorry we're not Cal.

That "garbage" score could end up being the difference in getting into a BCS bowl or some garbage bowl due to the fouled up BCS formula ... i thought that was a GREAT coaching decision by Chip Kelley ... and especially to let the freshman score after fumbling twice in the game ... i was actually impressed by that
