I assume that is Brandon Carter. He used to not get into duck hunting too much and was primarily a fishing charter and deer hunted during duck season.

He is hard to beat for fishing, he knows where the big trout are. He also knows how to duck hunt. He is operating out of my old camp, and I would say it would be a good trip.

Brandon Carter was the guide I used on my first guided fishing trip. He asked if I wanted quality or quantity.

I asked for quality and we only caught a dozen or so specks and all the redfish I could crank.

BUT

The trout went from 3.5 to 7.5 lbs

We talked about a lot of deer hunting and I knew this kid really enjoyed it. If he hunts anywhere near the way he fishes you won't be sorry!

(Brandon, send the check to my house )

That makes a lot more sense. I know him pretty well, and in fact was planning on using our old camp/his camp for duck season as he would be deer hunting.

However I would think the other guy may have a name issue with his business.

I believe there were a couple of posts on rodnreel about a name issue between those two a couple months ago.
