LSU = least respected pre-season Top 5 team, even before Shady's..

Probably just me? but as a team and even looking at certain group positions or individual players, the national/regional opinion (even before the suspensions but especially now) seems to be negative in regards to BCS or even SEC West chances...hell might as well just give it to Bama (WTF?) My question to those National talking heads is...why the hell did you vote us at #4 then? Outside of the overall poll ranking, just seems a ridiculous lack of respect for a Top 5 team, 11 win team LY, and their chances of winning the West or winning it all IMHO! Sunday morning they will probably be up our A$$, just saying....GEAUX TIGERS

we lost alot of talent from last year and have unproven qbs, imo we have been hyped alot since everyones lasting image was of us moping the turf with a&m. ive seen plenty of "experts" still picking us to win opener, west, sec, and bcs
not everybody gonna see thru p&g colored glasses

I tend to agree. Everyone was high on lsu then have steadily backed off towards the season opener. I don't get the love for certain other teams that replace an entire offense. Or for other teams that couldn't handle auburn at the point of attack and lsu Def line is deeper and better IMO. The good news is we settle it for the most part on the field.
