This was always the case since they announced his suspension. The "violation" carries with it a penalty of up to a 6 week suspension. LSU is asking for reinstatement/reduction of suspension from NCAA.

While that would suck I don't understand why anyone would think it's a big deal. It isn't like he has ever lived up to the hype. Meanwhile this fanbase thinks losing a senior starting QB is no big deal.
