Tiger to play in Frys.com Open in October

playing in fall series and announcing over a month in advance, very un-tiger like. glad to see him do this.

definitely a good move, he needs to play before heading to Australia. in fact, I am fairly certain Freddie discussed this with him before picking him for the team

Frys thanks Tiger Woods for increasing the excitment around this tournament 10 fold. Given that Tiger hardly plays competitive golf in the Bay Area, it will be interesting to see the attendance numbers for this year compared to last.
