Will Lyles on LSU

Too long to listen to. Does he say we're dirty or not?

"I haven't decided what I want to talk about yet"

"I have escorted recruits on to campus"

"They paid me for the services I rendered" (WTF?)

"With LSU they (coaches) asked for information and I provided them with information"

So are we fricked?

this is a college athletics problem as a whole. It's going on everywhere and the ncaa is going to have to adapt.

Lyles provided detailed information. He had to in order to receive payment. LSU's Compliance was on the job and on the ball here.

We've got our ducks in a row and we've got information that he provided us in exchange for being paid.

To give you an idea, we asked for a JUCO package in Kansas. We did happen to sign a certain kid from a Kansas JUCO, by the way. Goes by "Mett" amongst most fans. Ya'll ever heard of him?

The problem for Lyles is that we were paying him as a scouting service, & he may have brought recruits to camps and/or games. We KNOW he was on the sideline and evidently arranged for Reed & Seastrunk to be there in '09 for the Florida game.

Those are potential violations.

I transcripted almost all of what Lyles said to Canzano in the OP of the Pandora's box thread.

Basically, Lyles said he's not ready or willing to share everything about his dealings with LSU. Lyles says he escorted recruits to Tiger Stadium and football camps while being paid by LSU. Lyles says he went to visit recruits with coaches from LSU but never did that with Cal. Lyles could be lying through his teeth. Could be all lies. But if he's telling truth, we've got potential violations.

Oregon is still in way deeper doo doo but we know very little right now. We don't know what's provable, who's lying and what shoes have yet to drop.

Nope... In the picture its Cassius Marsh, Trevon Reed, and Seastrunk.... None signed with LSU.
