well that explains his absence, even though I don't agree. why'd you leave off Ro? and what about, say, Mauck says that he understood the game better than JaMarcus?

I really don't think Mauck belongs in the Top 10. His stats don't warrant it. He had some really bad games, even in 2003.
Loved the kid, though

Our current starting quarterback is the same way? Yeah right... we all freaking WISH he was the same way.

He apparently still doesn't understand the game. Can you imagine what type of QB Jamarcus would've been with Peyton Manning's brain?

Not a single mention of Doc Fenton. Different era, ok, but he was the Mike Vick of his day.

6) Matt Mauck
7) Matt Flynn
8) Mike Miley
9) Warren Rabb

Not a one of these guys is in the College Football Hall of Fame. Doc Fenton is.

I believe he was LSU's first All American.

As it may be impossible to accurately rank them due to changes in the game over the years we may could simply list the 10 best in no particular order: Fenton, Y.A., Hodson, Jones, Russel, Wickersham, Hilman, Risher, Woodley, Rabb....or something close to that.
