Do people still believe he meets his wife at Punchy's wedding or Barney's? My guess is that the series will end at Barney's wedding to Robin. (big limb I just went out on!!!!)

He said at the beginning of the season that he met the mother at the wedding where he is the best man, i.e. which appears to be Barney's wedding. I have read speculation that the mother is either one of Barney's Wife's (assuming Nora) friends or brides-maids or maybe even Barney's sister. Any of whom presumably Ted would not have previously met.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe that Ted meets his wife as the best man at Barney and Robin's wedding. It's the only way to do it.

I just started this show from Season one, got to episode where Barney Slept with Robin (Season 3 ep 15) and then my computer caught a mega-virus.

That's my theory.
They've showed that teaser about the future wedding before, we just didn't know who's wedding it was. Now, we know it's Barney's, just not clear yet who Barney is marrying.
Still think it's going to be Robin.

When Barney met his dad, he told him about his daughter who is away at college. That would make her the right age for Ted.

After the season finale I'm leaning more towards it being Barney and robins wedding. It's pretty safe to say the wedding will be either nora or robins tho.

It's definitely Robin that is marrying Barney. Lily is a Bridesmaid in the flashback.
