Yeah, I have been MIA for the past few weeks for several reasons. I've been working on some land rigs in South Texas down close to Mexico for starters. On my days off, I've been fishing tournaments. I'm fishing the Academy Sports + Outdoors HT Professional Redfish Series this year.

My partner & I finished in 8th place ($2500) down in Chalmette for the 1st event & got 10th place ($2500) in the 2nd event. We should have easily had a top 5 in the 2nd event but we had some serious trolling motor issues on day 3 & ended up with some dead batteries & a broken trolling motor shaft.
Anyway, I'm back for about 2 weeks then I'll be heading down to Jacksonville Florida for the 3rd stop on the tour.
