-23rd Overall
-2nd RB taken (After LT)
-3,060 rushing yards
-36 rushing TDs
-Destroyed LSU
-Wore # 22

10 years later...
-28TH Overall
-1st RB taken
-3,289 rushing yards
-42 rushing TDs
-Desroyed LSU
-Wore # 22

Kinda eerie. Not to mention both were drafted with a first round heisman trophy winner ahead of them on the depth chart. To the 2nd comming of Deuce...

People are a getting a little far-fetched here, but Ingram will be a good one.

Well Ingram wasn't the physical specimen that Duece was. Just saying though Ingram does remind me a lot of Emmitt Smith.

I remember deuce holding out in training camp though for a a week or two. Took him a while to get playing time behind Ricky. Hopefully they get ingrams contract done earlier than that. Paytons offense will take some time getting used compared to Sabans prostyle offense. If not, i think he could alwas jump right in as a 3rd down back with blitz pick up.

Yea, it is far fetched to think ingram will have the same impact as deuce both on and off the field. If he has half the career deuce had in 5 years im happy. If he can
stay healhty i can see him being at the very least a workhourse who runs out the clock in the 4th rather than a home run hitter.

Um... I guess last year doesn't count.

Ingram's stats for the 2010 game:
att-21
yards-97
avg-4.6
long-13
td-1

Not really destroying us.
