Ott didn't have his stuff tonight

It was pretty obvious that he didn't have his normal slider tonight.
Nevertheless, he got the job done.

He really was leaving it up even his misses were up. He was dropping down to far needs to get on top o that slider. Very fortunate that ball stayed in the park.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
It was just commentary on the game. I wasn't slamming Ott. Pitchers have days when they don't have their stuff.
When Ott started spinning his slider up there I had a pretty good feeling he was going to have problems.
It's the first time I've seen him do this in '11.
Ott with his normal slider probably rolls through the 9th.

Who is not satisfied? It was commentary on the game.
You don't understand baseball if you think saying a pitcher doesn't have his stuff on a given night is an attack. It happens to every pitcher.
