I cut some strong onions last night and after washing with everything except gasoline, I still have the stanky smell on my paws.
What do you chef's use?

I tried lemon juice last night and that cut it in half, guess I better reach for the crumbs and crackers next. Thanks Lester.

Stainless steel. If you have a stainless sink, rub your hands on it or "massage" a piece of stainless like a fork or spoon and then, wash.

This or do like I do. I keep a box of latex sugical type gloves in the kitchen for stuff like that. Works great for working with ground meats or any meats for that matter.

Have a large supply of these from Sam's. I use them to eat crawfish, also. Easy cleanup and no burning eyes.

I like the smell of onions.
Now, if someone has a tip on getting jalapenos off your hands before putting in your contact lens I'd like to hear it. Cause soap and water doesn't do it.
