It's incredible that he had such a high ypc average.

against good SEC teams and McNeese Ridley's YPC was about 3ypc.

From 2009 combine
    Chris Wells 4.59
Last place -slowest RB that yr in Indy

Emmitt smith ran slower that Wells....I've seen reports that it was as slow as a 4.8...can't confirm exact time tho

" Mark Ingram ran a 4.62 40-yard dash leaving many scouts very unimpressed "

All 3 simple google search

Ridley went up against defenses that crowded the line of scrimmage. It's not like other defenses feared the 1009th ranked passing attack. It's incredible that he had such a high ypc average.

I agree. I think Ridley didn't benefit from the QB situation last year. Would be awesome to see how he could do with a competent QB.

I agree 100%. But, as much as I wish he was back leading us to a BCSNC, I'm certain he'll find a spot on a team and barring injury, will make a lasting impression as a damn good back for the next few years(though as a rookie he may be a special teams animal for the first season... or two).
