he was recruited to be our FB and he helped pull his teammate (Copeland) into the class in the final hour last year...

Now...

quote:

- J.C. Copeland will definitely be staying at fullback going forward, and Miles indicated there’s no intention of moving the Georgia native back to the defensive line, where Copeland made his name in high school.

tigerrag

Do you think Worle is a little upset about this?.. AND would he have pulled his teammate if he would have known this to be the case...

Why is miles so stubborn. Copeland on the DL would have been beast.

Worle=Stevan Ridley (early in his career).. back up RB and FB/H-back that can catch passes ala Jacob Hester. Thats my opinion of what his role will be moving forward. I can garuntee you he aint mad because Copeland aint gonna be catching passes out of the backfield, all he will be doing is blowing holes open

We could all be missing something here... Worle might be getting a look at OLB.

Bang. Totally different type of fb. Copeland will be short yardage. Worle can run, catch, and block.

Not really a good time to be posting this kind of thread. Recruits and their families come to this site.

Meh... ~6'2" ~235

Guy could play any linebacker position, but it's a lot easier for a guy to step in at OLB than MLB (where he would be making the defensive calls) after playing on the other side of the ball.

For what it's worth, I still don't see how it's possible that Worle isn't the best FB on the roster.

Yeah, as athletic as he is I thought he'd have the FB position locked for years as well. He still has a lot of time

A FB with good hands really puts stress on opp defense. Maybe he's looking at JC blocking for BW on 3rd and short packages. We missed quite a few last year.

If J.C. is too small for DT, there is no way that Mickey or Hunter have the size.

LSU recruited Worle to play TB. During his recruitment he said the coaches told him that he could be the next Charles Scott.

His height isn't his problem.

I suspect he is having trouble gaining weight. I think his listed weight of 275 is pretty generous.
