For those who aren't big Les Miles fans, here is what needs to happen for LSU to get a new coach. Les Miles will win one more NC Championship in the next two years and then retire from coaching, giving LSU enough time to find the best available coach in the country. It will be a win-win.

So I guess, then, that LSU will hire a fantasy coach that will win a NC every year, right? Douche.

I heard that Les Miles has stated before that if he could have what he wanted it would be to stay at LSU for a few more years and win a NC -- and then retire. Michigan offered him more money than LSU will pay him (from what I hear) but Miles knows that he can win a NC at LSU in the next couple of years.
He told Chavis that he wasn't leaving so Chavis didn't leave to Texas. He told Wilson and the recruits he wasn't leaving. I think he asked LSU for more money for the assistants.
He knows that his best bet at another NC before retiring is in Baton Rouge. Who knows, after retiring he may become the AD at Michigan.

Les Miles only needs to coach for four more seasons. Then he'll be able to draw state retirement. In which case he can get paid roughly $80,000 to help us recruit or sit at home an come watch LSU play.

I think when he retires he will be hired as the AD at Michigan.
