Well what really sucks about all this for me, is they almost certaily will not be focused on beating aTm and I have always hated losing to those frickers.

We were contending for a MNC that time, he had to keep them more focused than A&M.

take care of the 1st and the second will fall into place. I guarantee a very good coach will be at LSU next year either way.
way easier said than done. nothing is a guaranteed w/ any coaching search, much less one this late in the yr

No, I do not think this is really bothering any of the current players. Remember, they have practived for A&M since the game was announced. A question about your coach's future with three days until gameday will be a little distracting, but the gameplan has been in place for a while and they should be fine.

I just don't see this job getting past too many coaches. And anyone saying Patterson is absolutely 100% not going to come to LSU is fooling themselves. Coaches listen when LSU, Florida, and Alabama are offering jobs

but I think any new coach would see the value of Frank as a coach and recruiter, especially with this class, and with Chavis.

you have to get a top shelf HC first and then hope he realizes this, all while there's less than a month til NSD and the rest of the SEC puts on the full court press w/ kids who's whole future has just been turned upside down

That makes perfect sense, I agree. Again, I am simply reporting what I was told. Basically, when asked if they thought he was leaving or staying, they all think he is leaving.

Were we though? LOL WVU was a huge favorite and should have had that game locked up. We were contending for an SEC Championship, however.

you're setting yourself up for disappointment, how many searches have we seen recently where an easy home-run hire couldn't have been further from the case, much less w/ this time frame

Granted, they do not have access to the actual specifics of the situation, but this is the feeling that they have regarding Miles' future at LSU. Also, they are not neccessarily upset about the potential move. They believe they will win a NC next year with or without Miles, although they would appreciate the continuity.

IMO, whoever follows Miles as HC here will be out of nowhere, and someone that hasn't even been discussed on here.
