I might catch a lot of flack for this but it seemed to me that when JLee was starting in his FRESHMAN season we moved the ball and scored points, granted, he did throw a lot of pics which I guess balances it out. But at least we could move the ball and score points. I mean hell, even when he threw all those pics against Georgia we put up 38. But at least with him, we moved the ball consistently, we don't move the ball consistently with JJ, that much I do know.

Since neither the opponents and/or the LSU team have changed in the interim, I think it's a valid question.

He threw some long TD Passes against Auburn. I think if they had left him alone and not made such a big deal about the Pick Sixes he may have been ok but now you got to talk about crap until you drive it into the ground!!!

Think so huh?? we may have Mett, but we will still have Crowton. It won't take Crowton long to give Mett bad habits...

That would of been hard to do. Too many occurred.

I don't understand not getting rid of Crowton? How can you justify keeping someone with that poor of a performance for two years.?

what you forget to mention in the games where we racking up yards and points in was that we were down by 20 in the first half. the bids for lee are going to really fade....mett is coming in to take his reps.

i'm not saying we are better off with jj, but expect mett to put some serious pressure on jlee and really limit his reps.

How can you say that at the moment? The guy has been out of major college football for a year (JUCO isn't major college ball) we don't know how he'll fit in with the offense and he hasn't even enrolled and been to a practice. So for all we know all those big numbers could only be in JUCO and not in the SEC.

Yeah, we did put up points at times, but we had a great rushing attack in '08 except against Florida.

We were bad in our out of conference games this year. We actually put up similar numbers in sec games this year compared to 08.

Mett has not proven anything. His completion percentage is less than Lee and JJ. That does not say much for playing in JC.

Also, just to add some more thoughts to yall's brains, JLee didn't have near the receiving core in 2008 as we do now.

he's also not throwing to Randle, Shepard, and Toliver.

He also hasn't been coached by Crowton yet.

You sure about that? Mett had about a 58% completion percentage. I have a hard time believing that's drastically lower than both Jefferson and Lee. Plus, Mett's yards per/completion was through the roof. His JUCO team was going deep a lot more often than LSU was this past season.
