Well my hunting season may be over...

Tuesday evening I hunted till dark in my box stand. Got all my stuff together, climbed onto the ladder, shut the door, took one step down - and my right knee gave way. I fell about 12 feet with my left leg crumpled up under me. Very much pain (this is a knee I have had three surgeries on). MRI yesterday with results to come Monday morning. Prayers appreciated!

That sucks but I feel your pain because I am still laid up from an injury I suffered in mid september and havent been to the camp since. It really sucks sitting on this couch watching hunting season just slip away. Hope you heal up soon.

Had surgery for a torn meniscus and a bone graft done back in february. I've thought about that exact scenerio for the last couple of days while hunting. Hope all works out well for you.

Had my first knee surgery about five years ago right after Thanksgiving, climbed up into the box stand over a wheatfield on the last day of muzzleloader that year (against doctor's orders) and shot a doe just before dark. It was hell trying to find that deer in a thicket while on crutches.
