Hornets to Debut New Uniforms Through “Golden Ticket” Promotion

"From the Hornets – The New Orleans Hornets will host a scavenger hunt from Friday, Nov. 19 through Tuesday, Nov. 23 releasing one clue per day on the Hornets official Twitter and Facebook pages to a location where the first 10 fans who arrive will have the opportunity to select an envelope. One envelope each day will contain a “golden ticket” which will include a pair of floor seats to the Hornets vs. San Antonio Spurs game on Sunday, Nov. 28 and an exclusive invitation to attend a pre-game Chalk Talk with Hornets General Manager Dell Demps where they will help debut the new Hornets’ alternate uniform and receive a jersey of their own.

“Our social networking sites play a big role in how our fans connect with our team, and we want to reward our followers with the opportunity to help us launch our new alternate uniforms,” said Hornets President Hugh Weber. “This is a unique, fun way our fans can be more than just fans. They will play an active role in the launch including being the first to own and wear the new jersey and are encouraged to post their photos and thoughts directly to their personal social networking sites to debut the uniforms to the public.”

Fans who receive a “golden ticket” will also be the first to witness a Hornets player donning the new alternate uniform as he models the gear as part of the launch event.

To receive the daily clue, fans can “Like” the Hornets official page on Facebook (facebook.com/hornets) or follow the team’s Twitter (@Hornets). Each clue will direct fans to a specific location around the New Orleans area or Northshore at a designated time. The remaining nine envelopes that do not contain a “golden ticket” will still include a pair of tickets to the Hornets vs. Spurs game on Sunday, Nov. 28."
