Is there a bigger myth floating around amongst LSU fans right now than the one that says JLee only plays well when coming off the bench????

It seems every QB thread has some (in most case many) fools stating that JJ should start because Lee is better and more comfortable off the bench.

Can someone, please, provide one single shred of evidence that this is the case.

And if not, how can anyone jsutify or support JJ contiunuing to start after watching the offense with him as Qb this year?

I don't even know how this got started. You can tell Lee is itching to get on the field from the get-go.

Well, there's no evidence in 2010 otherwise since Miles keeps starting JJ. Therefore, it must be true!

LSU runs the ball better with Lee is a pretty common one

I don't either, but it has to be one of the stupidest lines of reasoning I have ever seen on this board. And I realize there have been many.

People try to make sense of what the coaching staff is doing. There is no LOGICAL explanation for why Jefferson starts.

The few JJ supporters will revert back to Lee's freshman year to have any semblance of an argument. That's how bad it is.

Name me 1 game that JJ has led us to victory during crunch time? He is a choker.

Almost as bad as 8-8 in the SEC

Miles has a voodoo doll that looks like Urban Meyer. Huge Myth!

I wasn't trying to tie into the first myth mentioned. I was just adding to the list. I agree with the OP, and agree that JL should play most if not the entire game.

Offense is much better all around with Lee. JJ offers nothing that any wildcat QB couldn't do at this point. Until his passing game improves he is seriously getting pity time.

But to do that, they'd have to notice that Lee played better during his bad freshman year than Jefferson is playing in his junior year.

Jefferson 2010 - 53.2%, 5.29 yds/att, 1.8% TD%, 6.4% INT%, 90.9 Rating
Lee 2008 - 53.2%, 6.96 yds/att, 4.8% TD%, 5.9% INT%, 115.7 rating

This is the truth. The passing game is hundreds of times better with Lee in the game without losing the ability to run the ball. We don't run the ball better or worse... when you put that together with a consistent passing game... well, frankly, you have 8 touchdowns and 2 field goals in something like 13 drives..
