He needs to walk in the room and say everyone who made a mistake in yesterday's game or could have made a play and didn't raise their hand.
Most guys who played will.
Yesterday is over. Everyone made mistakes. Put it behind us and focus on getting better this week. Florida is a big game for us. Don't get caught up in this coaching BS etc. Focus on what you can control.

Yeah - the problem is: their penalties/drops/mistakes/overall poor play can be traced to bad coaching. I mean - do you really think we just have 2 really bad qb's (worse than almost any team in D1) or is it more reasonable to think their aren't being coached properly.
It's a lack of intensity. A lack of discipline. Aw shite - we've been saying this for 3 years...

He needs to tell the coaches to own up too.Enough of this babble trying to make it look like we were never out of sync.

Anyone remember when Arizona had a players meeting with the AD over Mackovic?? If everything was okay I don't know if this meeting takes place. Vandy, Moo St., Tennessee. ruh ro

It's a combination of both. The qbs are not sec caliber and the coaches obviously are not able to figure out how to maximize what ability they have.

Am I the only one worried that this team meeting may just divide the team further leading to complete collapse over the next 7 games?
Hopefuly there are some real leaders in the locker room and the team decides to play for each other not neccissarily the coaches

Actually, I think you are. Kelvin is THE leader of this team. I trust him to handle this meeting appropriately and ultimately pull the team closer together.

KS, PP and probably RS have the clout to keep the team together.
Meetings are a way to keep the idle chatter between team members at a minimum and keep everyone in the same playbook.

besides the bad play calling (crowton) every other player on the team seems to perform and do what they are supposed to. Yes we have penalties and yes they need to be eliminated but the biggest problem is the QB situation.
I think Lee can fix that part. Players have to now take responsibility for lining up offsides, for false starts and for facemasks.
They fix the penalties and yesterday isn't nearly as hard to watch.

Sheppard is showing more leadership ability than anyone on the coaching staff.

i'm not sure it is going to help with the rest of the SEC slate, but kelvin is right in calling the meeting. the level of respect for LSU is lower than it was even last year. we started strong last year, but struggled from this point on. we have to beat florida in the swamp because the SEC west games are going to be even tougher at the end of the year. we'll see how it unfolds, but there is so much to fix right now.

if it is the all the coaches fault (which i doubt) that isn't going to change this year. but barksdale is a one man drive wrecker on passing downs and that shite needs to stop. TT can't catch a pass that hits him in the hands unless it's late in the game and he's got two dbs interfering with him. the easy ones he drops. etc, etc. i don't know it that's coaching anymore than it's coaching that floridas center can't hike the ball consistently. sometimes these things are a mental issue and just need to be worked on and let time fix 'em.

you'd make an amazing middle linebacker/team leader/future high round draft pick/amateur sports psychologist

This. And it's good to see.

that is a good general thing to do, but is a head-in-the-sand unitelligible way to bring about the changes that are really needed.
The players are not the problem, it is the coaches making the decisions that are leading to player mistakes.
Sure, there will always be some bad player decisions and plays, but this is way more about the coaching than the players.
unless this is about rallying behind Lee as a QB, the meeting will be fruitless.
