Good weekend, which included an amazing steak that the wife grilled up + corn and fresh green beans. In the past, that steak dinner would have probably had mac n cheese (loading up at least half the plate) + a baked potato loaded up with all sorts of things. It's amazing how great a steak can taste when you only eat one every few months

For eating worse than I have in a long time yesterday, I came into the week looking good.

That's awesome. I'm doing it starting March 7. Not sure if I'm looking to loose weight as much as I am to cut some more. Works perfect because March is the last month of my cut cycle.
I'm excited.

So I have seen this thread before and read a few posts and it has really inspired me. Over my 5 years at LSU I have put on close to 40 lbs with way too much fast food and late nights drinking. Starting in January I started to really clean up my diet and workout 4-5 times a week. I am going to try to start posting in this thread to hopefully keep me motivated so here it goes:

Tomorrow I'll be in Lafayette waiting on my aunt's brain surgery.. Friday I found out she has a brain tumor the size of a lime. Between my cousin and I, I'm sure some beer will be consumed at Parish in an attempt to get our minds off of it for a little while. Sometimes.. diet be damned.

I think my problem wasn't just gorging, but a craving for food that I just can't shake.

That feeling that what I had eaten wasn't enough is terrible. I hate it, and saying no to myself means that I'll have to deal with that shite till I give in. It sucks.

It took me a while to figure out that the nickname my own family had for me was the roaming gnome of food. I always had something to eat to deal with that craving that just won't go away.

when I do binge, I don't enjoy it. Its not as tasty as it should be and I never feel satisfied.

Usually on a bad day I'll snack over the course of the day it turns into a gorge, never too quick, just a slow descent into food hell.

Yesterday was my first trip back to the gym in 3 weeks. I knew it was going to be tough, so I just wanted to actually get myself in there.

Damn you are dropping weight quick lol
It is taking me awhile to drop and that's with me doing 2.5-4.0 miles a day jogging and 30 minutes on elliptical

yeah, my last month or so has been really good. I'm starting to think that may have something to do with my 3 weeks off from the gym I almost talked myself out of going just to see if the scale keeps moving...but if there's anything worse than being fat, it's being skinny fat.

I started this month at 233-235 and I thought eating 1600 + no drinking + working out cardio like I do I would drop quick. I'm at 224 today

10 Lbs in 18 days. That's not bad bro. Not like you are a ton of fat. You've got a good bit of muscle there.
