Down 3 from last Sunday but a trip to Casa Garcia for lunch will spoil that number.

Bloat. Seems Casa Garcia dishes out extra food on Sundays. Ate it all. Pork fajitas for the win.

Still down ten pounds. I have managed to resist rice, bread, strawberry shortcake, cookies, pita bread, biscuits and alcohol this weekend. I am a willpower machine!

Thanks

It's definitely been an uphill battle, but now I know I'm near the summit and motivation is at an all-time high because it actually feels achievable.

Had a few events to attend on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so I took a few days off. Didn't weigh this morning for fear of the damage those might cause. Hit the gym for about 2 hours this morning. Back on track starting today. We'll see how bad it is at tomorrow morning's weigh-in.

Back in. Fast today. Low carb on non-fast days. 8 carb-bloated days of fun in the sun has me looking like I swallowed a beach ball (inflated).

Went to hubs coworkers house last night. Ate two pieces of pizza so I would not starve. Craved broccoli that I would have eaten if at home lol. Down another pound this morning.

Guess I'll jump in. Maybe it'll help to post.

I started at the end of duck season. I've never been out of shape until the last couple years.

Boy do I have a knack for making healthy meals unhealthy. salad? Nah, I have to do it right!

Grill ham on a skillet.
Fresh bacon.
Leftover chicken from the grill (when I hear leftover chicken I use butter to keep it from drying out)
Homemade ranch ( lots of mayo)

But it's a salad right?

I've been swimming laps in the pool every other day with a light puchup/sit-up/tricepdip routine in between to maintain. I'm sorry, I can control my portions but I refuse to eat shitty food I do like fruits, vinnigerette salads and veggies so I'm trying to eat mainly that.... Still hav to spice it up.

Maintaining is easer than losing. Y'all have all been an inspiration. Appreciate it.

I don't see any unhealthy items in your list.

My idea of a healthy salad is a raspberry vinegette with strawberries, pecans and fresh vegetables (diced red onions, banana peppers, etc).

A salad with butter (heated with the chicken), real, greasy bacon, ranch dressing mix (cup of mayo),
And ham grilled/sautéed in butter isn't a healthy salad. It's better than a taco salad yeah. But still bad for you.

No carbs, no sugar, no bread/croutons, but all your other ingredients make a healthy salad. See Sisson/Taubes.

I had a crawfish étouffée on romaine lettuce salad, no rice, lunch today. Butter is better when no carbs are present.
