Free lunch is just stew or chicken so I will easily be able to skip it today.

If you don't want to do away with carbs, these are my thoughts. That being said, I recommend doing away with those.

How does cutting out carbs effect your energy in the immediate sense? I have a professional exam I am taking in 29 days (it requires over 300 hours of study to have a chance to pass) and I don't need any lack of energy!

For 2-3 days you'll probably feel sluggish, but your body will adjust.

dropped another 1.4 in the last 8 days. Haven't done very well eating wise. My wife and I went ahead and wiped out the kids Easter candy the last 3-4 days. So, i've lost over 10 lbs in the last 7 weeks. Ran for the first time since last August. 5k in 33:58. I had to stop jogging and walk about 3 times for about 1.5 minutes each time.

Anyway, stop being a bunch of fatties and lose some weight people.

add plenty of protein, especially after you work out. if not, you'll find yourself crashing after expending energy. I actually found that upping the protein and cutting the carbs increased my energy immediately. But, people are scared to eat more meat and eggs because they think it'll make them.

Eat enough protein and fat, and cutting carbs will go great.

The reality is that even if you ate carbs but cut calories you might feel run down until you adjusted some.

I fully believe that 1200 calories low carb gives you more energy than 1200 calories low fat.

While I agree, I don't think he should be eating 1200 calories

Wasn't suggesting a number. Just making a point about low carb vs low fat.

Had a few drinks last night, but played laser tag. That stuff is a serious cardio workout. No joke.

Running a 5k and then doing Core Synergistics on the same day is not a good idea. Sure, I burned a ton of calories and lost 1.5 in 24 hours. I'm struggling this morning though.

I'm only down about 8-10 lbs but I'm just starting to do a lot more cardio instead of weight training. Circuit training is helping a lot.

Once I get my certification test out of the way on the 22nd and I ge tback from my week-long vacation in early may, I plan on hitting the gym hard again. I want to do a 5x5 strength building program.

No doubt

Sounds like a good plan. I'm trying to keep my strength all the while increase my distance in running to an extent. I've never really committed to distance running because I hate it so I really want to take the challenge
