Do these clones still dress alike and send the pledges in early to reserve entire sections?
Just curious.

Yeah...and they cut pricks like yourself.
Wow. Sorority girls have gotten violent since my days.

the student section is a privilege for the band...the band is not a privilege for the students. we'll have a good time regardless. if they wont play for us they can go sit in the south endzone where people will bitch when they play too loudly
this is probably a shot not at the actual band but more at the program and its administrators. i for one will start taking the band's leadership seriously when they can play something other than the same led zeppelin-themed halftime show theyve been playing all year. and yes, west virginia's band humiliated ours during our own halftime show.
until then...oh we oh. you suck
You sound like a fricking idiot. I'm in my 20's, I went to LSU, I'm a normal dude, and you sound like some five year old child with that response. Like I said, if you want to mess up O-we-O I don't care. No reason to mess up neck though.

Its not the band directors that chose to take out oweo, it was the athletic department. Yes some of the student section still said it, but it didnt bring as much attention and therefore probably no fine since the band didn't play.
And besides, the student section just as happily jumped into Neck after the touchdown rather than oweo.

Wow, lots of responses after I logged off yesterday.
I sat very close to the student section Saturday and could hear something with "suck" and "dick" in it while Neck was being played. Other posters are correct when they say that as soon as this catches on and becomes audible around the stadium, then Neck will disappear as well. I don't care what Wisconsin's student section does, and I don't care what Florida's student section does. If ya'll are so determined to do something just because others do it, why don't you copy Vanderbilt's student section?
As for the griping about leaving early, I was there until after the Alma Mater and I had my 8 and 6 year old boys with me. You want to know what section leaves first? It's the sorority and frat section in the gold seats on the West side right in front of the cheerleaders.
And where was the "Halftime" song? The band missed a great time to play "Hold that Tiger/Pregame" when W. Virginia took their last time out and LSU was taking a knee. There is no rule that you can only play it before the game and at the start of the 4th quarter. During the 1997 win over #1 ranked Florida the band played it about 5 times. And people went nuts every time. Also, turn the page on Led Zepplin.
