But I'd eat the po boys first. Or actually work up appetite with her then go for poboys.

I ate at parkways for the first time last week and got a roast beef since I heard it was the best.
The roast was great, that real roast beef that is hard to find (not that deli style stuff some places try to sneak in there, but real Sunday Dinner kind of roast)
BUT, the gravy was so bland I couldn't finish it. I love roast beef poboys and I was disappointed. Was this just a bad batch? or are they overrated? Just wanted some opinions if I should give it another try.

I think they are skimpy on the meat/gravy. I prefer Parasol's roast beef. Still need to try Magazine St. Poboys though.

I like Parkway just fine. My favorite RB po-boy is at Magazine Po-Boy at the corner of Magazine and First Street.

I'm gonna try the surf n turf next time! I like Parasols and Chicken Sues roast beef the best.
I had a catfish poboy at magazine's once, but the bread was so stale it turned me off on them forever.

At Parkway I get the fried oyster with bacon dressed. I need a fireman to stand next to me because of the sparks coming out of my mouth.

That combination is really great. That is my favorite at Parkway for sure.

Chicken Sues is a little place on Harrison in lakeview. They specialize in fried chicken, but their poboys are great!!
Plus they deliver. I think they used to own a more famous shop before the storm...I can't think of the name though.

She needs to get on the stairmaster and the sun. The legs don't match the face. She's got a farmers tan.

Oh...but IWHI.

Damn that sounds good. Surgery tomorrow, then a trip to Parkway next week to help me recoup.

The writers of the show contacted me back in March when they filmed here. They saw I was a fan of Domilise's on facebook, and asked me to talk about the place, etc. Talked with them on camera for about 20 min, but I'll be surprised if I get more than 5 seconds of air time. Got 2 free po'boys while shooting.
