The schedule is showing kickoff is 7:oo, but I thought I saw a few weeks ago where it was going to be a 2:30 game. Does anyone know what time it will be?

if i had to put money on it, it will be a cbs 230

We won't know until 12 days before kickoff when the television networks make their final decisions. That's the truth. Any kickoff times that are provided before then are simply speculation.

I wish just once, the school would stand up to CBS and say "f@*k you. This game is too important not to play it at night."

Schools have no say in the matter. You are in a conference and the conference has TV contracts and CBS has first selection of any game they want.

Nobody at LSU has the balls to do that.
The SEC contract gives CBS first shot, then ESPN gets sloppy seconds. All the LSU "Powers that Be" don't have the guts to tell the SEC to GFY. They COULD do that, but they WONT.
What's the SEC/CBS going to do if we just flat out refuse to move a game? The only thing they could do is fine the school and that's what it's all about. $$$$$$$$ LSU doesn't want a huge fine and doesn't want to piss off the SEC Brass.
Would love to see LSU be a pioneer in all this and "Just Say No" a la Broadhead. I would love to see them tell SEC/CBS "Sorry, we'll cooperate all season, but this one game against Alabama, we're not moving to afternoon. Don't like it, tough. Fine us. Whatever. See yall in court. The game stays at 7pm."
Aint gonna happen because there are no Bob Broadhead's at LSU any longer with enough moxy, guts and intestinal fortitude to stand up for what the fans/alumni want. Screw the fans and tradition. Can't challenge that SEC TV contract and give up the big bucks. The current crop of LSU Officials are just content to bend over while the SEC/CBS shoves all that beautiful green stuff where the sun don't shine.

Do people really not know how things are done by now?
