As long as we fix our fumblitis we will be fine. Our defenive secondary is extremely talented but they are young on the right side. They will have growing pains but will learn and get better as the season goes.
I really think we are going to beat the hell out if vandy and this team will continue to get better.

This is coming from a true anti-Les Miles fan.

At this point I agree. I expect to see adjustments made and problems addressed.

It was the first game of the season. The 2nd half performance was a God send to get the attention of all. We will see a complete 4 quarter game this Saturday.

LSU hasn't played a fourth quarter in 2 years.

it was very frustrating last year to have our lines play to a standstill with vandy's lines. I will be looking to see improvement there, and i know we will see it on the defensive side. let's see how many sacks we give up to vandy.

you really believe that? I don't expect anything other than sandlot football. LSU would be a better team w/o this coaching staff. Just let em line up and play b/c they get no coaching. If they did it would show. $3.85 million per fricking year and you have to hold your breath every time the team takes the field

I have no confidence in Miles, Crowton, Chavis or any other coach involved in this clusterfrick.

I think it is the lock bet of the year. The players will play pissed off because of what happened this weekend and the coaches will never back off. Vandy is fricked this weekend.

Step off the ledge, windriver. Maybe they come out pissed and focused and put together a good game for 4 quarters. Vandy is not UNC.

Considering: Vandy likely has only 2 players out of 83 that would get offered by LSU...I hope we destroy them.

Luckily this isn't the Math Bowl.

The things here you must remember is vandy plays their own game and slows down the pace. They tend to play solid fundamental defense and are opportunistic. I think we dominate them statistically but am not sure it translates to a 4 touchdown victory because I think the game is lower scoring. I see a 27 to 7 win but we do dominate the game.

I think you hit it dead on. Each problem LSU had in the 2nd half is fairly easily correctable. That game may be a blessing in disguise for this team. A pissed off fan base and team spells doom for the next few teams... beyond that, it depends on if ADD sets in

We couldn't dominate a depleted UNC team, we will not dominate Vandy.

Yes, it's hard to deny that trend among LSU teams under Les Miles. Usually, it's a steady progression over the course of the year, to the point where we're almost always a lot better at the end of November than we are at the beginning of September.
