Jefferson is improved-no doubt about it.

Like was said in a current thread, he has better command of getting the plays and getting them run. His feet weren't happy until that intentianl grounding play, before that he was solid in the pocket, stepping up and looking to scramble less. Most of his passes were leading his recievers and hitting them in the hands while in stride and not behind them. He still has a long way to go and he got rattled after the intentional grounding, so his new confidence may be somewhat fragile.

He improved all right, he's now going to starting in the next version of the movie Happy Feet!

I agree. He has improved and i am excited to see more. He did not fumble 5 times. We dont fumble he throws for 2 more tds 4 total and 290 yards or so and we win 47-17 or 51-10. I am ready for the vandy game myself.

I was a bit disappointed in the level of improvement. Some in the areas you mention but a top-flight QB simply does not make the two glaring mistakes. He had ample time to roll out of the pocket and toss the ball out of bounds on both occasions. He also had RS open for a huge play in another instance and badly overthrew him(short throw). A flawless game by JJ and there is no drama late in the game. Even three more points would have been huge. I don't fault JJ as much as I do Ridley and Murphy. Neither was hit that hard. Those ball-security issues better get fixed pronto. Very disappointed that Ford and Ware got no carries. BTW two horrible calls contributed to the close game. They're still trying to find holding on the TBob Ridley play and that was definitely an illegal tackle on the on-side kick. At least we're not Ole Miss or UF fans today.

Yes, me too. I wanted Ford to get some carries - mostly because he is a hometown boy, but I wanted to see how he does at the college level.
I was impressed with Ridley though, and couldn't say I thought Ford would - or could - do any better.
However, after the fumbles, I thought Ford might see the field.
As for Ware, I read on another thread that he played on kickoffs. Is that right?

to acheive my keen insight, you have to watch a lot of lsu football objectively, then the difference is easy to see. He had more command. Now, i'm not saying that we won't see the same jefferson come fla. or ala. but he definetely looked better than any game last year.

+1. Ware did play and got in on one tackle. Don't think Ford got in the game.
