ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that there are "questions and doubts around the league" regarding the health of Maurice Jones-Drew's knee.
Schefter confirms that Jones-Drew will start Sunday, but it sounds like there is serious concern about whether he'll be 100 percent. It's never a good sign when a running back has a knee injury, period. We can't imagine sitting MJD in such a favorable matchup (the Broncos' front seven is incredibly weak), but it's a situation to track closely early in the year. Jones-Drew owners must grab Rashad Jennings. Deep leaguers can pick up Deji Karim.

this is getting scary, Schefter is respected and doesn't just put crap out there (like I do).

I dunno if it's a good time to buy or sell

Beanie Wells (knee) missed Cardinals practice on Wednesday.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt did say after the workout that he anticipates Wells playing Sunday at St. Louis. It's still a situation to monitor closely, as the matchup is highly enticing. Already the favorite for all work in passing situations and on the goal line, Tim Hightower would be a serviceable fill-in should Wells be a surprise scratch. Check back Thursday for an update.

interesting

Though quarterback Donovan McNabb widely is expected to play despite an ankle injury, coach Mike Shanahan officially has listed him as questionable, which means there's a 50-percent chance McNabb will play, and a 50-percent chance that he won't play.

According to the NY Daily News, Darrelle Revis is not expected to shadow Anquan Boldin all over the field Monday night.
Citing "the people I've spoken to," beat writer Manish Mehta expects Revis to see plenty of action against T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Derrick Mason. Boldin would have a better chance for production against Antonio Cromartie, though it's still not a great fantasy situation. The Jets led the league in 2009 pass defense, and upgraded their personnel in the secondary this offseason.

Tonight's Jets-Ravens opener has been delayed due to lightning at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
The start time, originally scheduled for 7PM ET, has been pushed back "at least" 30 minutes due to rain and lightning. Per Weather.com, thunderstorms are expected to subside before 8PM, so the game should be on by then.

Offensive coordinator Mike Martz said that he wants to use Forte the same way he used Marshall Faulk in St. Louis, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Recommendation: That means using him as a receiver as much as a running back. Martz said, "I don't think there's any question about it. Matt as a receiver is very unique, his ability to change direction and adjust to defenders. We can all see his speed. He's a very difficult guy for guys to match up [with]. I don't care if its a safety or linebacker. We can put him out there against a corner and he'll do well." Obviously, this is good news for Forte owners, especially in PPR formats.

something to keep an eye on, if issue arises. Manningham may be worth a spot start

Early Doucet (groin) will be re-evaluated later in the week.
Consider Doucet's history, we wouldn't expect him to play against the Falcons on Sunday. He missed seven games last year with fractured ribs and then sat out all of this preseason with an abdomen issue. Still, coach Ken Whisenhunt doesn't think Doucet is brittle. "The kid is tough and physical. When the kid is in there, he's dynamic," Whiz said.

if early out breaston I think is a must start, as Fitz will draw the better coverage.

Will probably counter your trade after the waiver deadline.

Edit: And I meant Bradshaw in my response. Addai is a bit over the top.

Kevin Boss (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Boss is accumulating concussions. With each one he suffers, the recovery period is longer. Backup Travis Beckum will fill in as the pass-catcher while Bear Pascoe comes in on running downs.

good for Bradshaw (extra run blocker) and WR's (more targets) and another bump for Manningham(more 3 wr sets)

but just a slight bump all around
