WMHS DT Chucky Hunter had an outstanding game against Leesville Friday night. In the backfield all night long, no official stats available yet but played a dominant game. He's going to have a monster season if he can stay healthy. Looked like he was limping at times.
Paul Turner did a nice job last night, nothing too spectacular. Had a couple of great runs which we now all expect. Didn't look comfortable in the short passing attack but hit a couple of bombs.
WMHS RB Tyler Cain had a big night rushing as well (over 100 yds, 4 td's).
Leesville's senior tailback Levander Liggins was the player of the game imo in a losing effort,
Liggins finished the game with four rushes for 50 yards and a 39-yard touchdown and eight receptions for 148 yards and three touchdowns.
Hard to tackle, and this was against one of the top defenses in the state, year in and year out.
Leesville will make some noise down in class 4-A.

Leesville will win state in 3-4 years if Feaster stays, book it.

I've said ever since I saw Feaster's Minden team beat Neville in the playoffs that when Don Shows retires I want WM to hire Feaster. I am very impressed with him.
