I didn't become a big Mad Men fan until last year. Became a huge Don Draper fan.

I didn't realize Jon Hamm was the NASA official in The Day The Earth Stood Still
Guess it wouldn't have surprised me when re-watching The Day The Earth Stood Still the other day on cable (I was giving it a second chance),
if I had followed Mad Men from season one. But apparently, he signed up for the movie after the Mad Men series had already strated.
Speaking of Mad Men, I completely forgot (Roger Sterling) John Slattery was originally Will's brother on Will & Grace:

Peter Billingsley, kid from Christmas Story, was mentioned earlier as being in The Break Up. He is good friends with Vince Vaughn and directed Couples Retreat.
Brad Pitt has a few early roles where just shows up. I always liked Happy Together (Helen Slater/Patrick Dempsey) when I was a kid and he is one of her random hookups in the movie. He also starred in a really shitty horror movie called Cutting Class that is worth your time if you like bad horror movies.
Melora Hardin, Steve Carrell's girlfriend/boss on the Office, was into C. Thomas Howell in Soul Man. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is also a costar.
