Your statement has no merit, because it is based on ignorance! Mr. I was born in 1984! How the hell do know anything about the NBA in the 1980s when you were not old enough to watch it know what the hell was going?

todays layers are bigger, stronger, faster, etc

i dont need to watch a lot of games to know that what i said is the truth

you sound just like pj on here, sticking to your guns that the good ole days were the best. its ignorant

Bite me a-hole- I guess you are included in the young & dumb group-Let me explain- Phyically better- yes, maybe better jumping ability, speed, whatever. However, that is not the same as pure basketball TALENT & basketball SKILLS- Things you may not know, like hitting a 12-15' shot, dribbling, passing, etc. The NBA has been killed by things such as the 3 point shot, too many H.S. kids, etc. You didn't watch or attend 100+ NBA games a year, every year to know what it was all about back then, so STFU...

Not from what I have seen, they simply can't hit a 12-15' jumper today.

You forget, they played better D back then, they would have ways to slow up CP3. Choppa- get back to your Miami game, they need you...

no you GFY

players back then wish they could do the things players can now, this is year round players perfecting their craft, they are better shooters, better ballhandlers, and better passers.
You should take off the 1930 glasses and look pass the tattoos or whatever else you don't like about the players today's appearance and STFU

How the frick would you know? You said earlier you were born in 1984!! I probably attended or watched 1000 NBA games BEFORE you were even born, so I can give a better comparison, since I can still watch the players today & compare...

Again, you did not see the NBA in earlier years, so all you can do is look at a few taped games on TV to compare, you weren't there!! So again, to you young wannabe, STFU...

So somehow you going to games 30+ years ago makes you the ultimate judge in talent.

Have you gone to or seen thousands of nba games today to compare? And even if you did it still means shite

Common sense is against you

Ok, sorry on that, you had quoted someone who said they were born in 1984, but for that matter then, when did you start watching the NBA on a regular basis? I ate, slept, dreamed the NBA for many years...
