Well like Pete Carroll said after the Oregon State loss: "The Pac-10 is ridiculously tough."

PAC-10 is a BCS conference so he technically played against some of the best talent in the country.

Maybe he meant in a Kevin Bacon kind of way. "We played against teams that got beat by really good teams so we basically rule".

playing against the USC defense at practice, which was the best in the country, so therfore he is correct with the statement.

playing against the USC defense at practice, which should have been by far the best in the country, so therefore he is correct with the statement.

There is that, and when SECtards realize that ALL of Division I-A is tough, then they may actually demonstrate some true knowledge.

BTW, does anyone have conference bowl game records from last season? Just sayin'.

Oh, and it's extremely obvious that the "Sanchez is shooting up the boards" story was NOT an example of you people's myopic perception that ESPN and the rest of the media are biased in favor of Southern Cal. That bias does NOT exist, and the only people who think it does are retarded LSU fans who have an inferiority complex.
