No way in hell Tubbs goes to Starkvegas. I don't think Tubby's ego would let him take a coaching position at MSU.

Well, Tubby is the coach that is doing the SEC coaching tour. Ole Miss, Auburn and now Miss. State.

i had heard Derek Dooley for St, but if they get Tubby, props to them.....i will need more proof before i believe it though

guys, i see a VERY slim chance of this happening. This goes against everything that has been said to be the criteria for the new coach. Byrne (the AD) stated they are going after someone who is going to open up the offense. Tubbs isn't exactly a offensive genius (see his seasons at auburn),unless he already has a OC lined (which i doubt). Also MSU wouldn't be able to pay for Tubbs AND a mid level profile OC.

wouldn't bother me one bit. Not that I want Les gone, but I think Tubs is one of the best coaches in the SEC, and def underappreciated during his time at Auburn.
I hope he does pull a Joe Torre and tells the Aubs to kiss his arse.

That's all you need to know right there. Birminham radio is the biggest pile of manure out there when it comes to decent information, especially about Auburn. They'll say anything to denigrate Auburn and pump up Alabama. Finebaum comes out of Birmingham radio. Say no more.

I'm actually hoping the rumors aren't true and I'm hoping he doesn't leave. He has earned at least one more year to try and "right the ship".
