sorry if germans. I think he was victimized by a bad OC just like Fulmer and Tubberville. Why do theses head coaches allow that to happen?

he was victimized because he was hired at State. No one can win their without cheating. He didn't cheat, therefore he didn't win.

Fulmer had his handprint ALL over that offense. Notice the offense never changed under 3 OC's.

Tubby? You're right.

Croom? Dunno. . .how do we know that isn't Croom's offense?

he's an offensive coach. a west coast guy. he was going to live or die with it

MSU should have gone to the option 2 years ago. they're not going to get a QB who can run the west coast often, if ever

they have plenty of athletes to run the option

Seriously. You need evil and corruption on the level of Jackie Sherrill to win at MooState

Didn't Clawson admit that he was running the same plays as last year, out of different formations.

The only true difference was that they have no adequate QB coach without Cutcliffe or Randy Sanders.

I hate to see Sly gone. He was trying to build that program up right - how many times in the past at MSU would they have just slapped the kids on the wrist when they did something wrong. Sly wasn't shy about booting kids off the team - as he did at the beginning of this year.

I admit he could sometimes be a bit arrogant (I think his "I'm used to beating Auburn" comment after the game alst year was uncalled for) but I do think he was doing as best he could in a tough situation, and trying to do it the right way.
