Same. I feel like the writing has been on the wall for this for a while. Now it'd just be a pleasent suprise if he ends up here.

I am little dissappointed about the tidbits on JM, WC, and CM but I liked what read on AD and XSF.

I wont touch that RR foolishnees. He will be a a LSU Tiger.

Not to mention this one...

quote:

RB Christine Michael, Beaumont (Texas) West Brook: The bottom line seems to be that if LSU wants him, they could probably get him. But the Tigers seem to be focused on Trent Richardson and 2010 stud Lache Seastrunk. Sources say Michael does not have a committable offer from LSU, and all signs point to Texas A&M.

Offensive tackle Xavier Su'a Filo of Provo (Utah) Timpview still lists nine schools of interest, but sources say that this is a three-team race between BYU, USC and LSU, with BYU holding the edge.

I thought he was a LSU lean ???

I don't ever remember Randle being considered a lock for LSU...despite this article saying that he was at some point in the past.

Why? Michael = Ford

Michael made his own bed.

It's been a two horse race between BYU and LSU. He's coming down next weekend for the first time without his parents or friends for a "trial run." We cooled on his buddy Richard Wilson after camp and that certainly did not help. He also wants to attend college for a year then leave for the mission instead of going on the mission right away.

How would that work out?

Red-Shirt then take a grey-shirt?

if he stayed at a 4* people wouldn't be saying this. I don't understand the infatuation. Everyone knows that Seastrunk is a good shot at being at LSU. Then you already have Ford and Pratt coming in. Plus you have Lattimore showing big interest next year also. that's not counting the other backs that we aren't even talking about yet.

Either way, LSU will be fine without him if he doesn't end up there.

The NCAA stops the eligibility clock when they leave for the mission. It starts again when they return. So the first year he could be a red-shirt, and when he returns he has four to play four or he can play the first year and use the red-shirt-when he comes back to get back in shape or some other variation.

Very true, it seems like Miles and Co. just don't see him being a "5-star/must have" recruit.

Its either TR or bust, CM's scolly will be better used a other "must need" positions like LB and Safety.

I would love to have him, but I just don't see the numbers working out in his favor.

I agree! If we pass on CM, we will see him being one of the best backs in the country in 2 years.
