The rumor du jour was A&M to SEC official unconditional announcement was to happen at Midnight Yell. Supposedly Slive was in town to make it official tonight. Didn't happen.

Can the SEC waive their requirements without another meeting of the Athletic Directors?
I don't see Baylor, Kansas or Iowa State signing the waiver any time soon, even with the annual re-commitment to the Big XII by Texas and OU.

No, but it would be/was likely done through teleconference (and would be a meeting of the Presidents/Chancellors)
