quote:

“Certainly the position of Oklahoma State and I think most of the schools, if not all, is that we want to add a 10th team,” said Oklahoma State president Burns Hargis, a member of the league’s expansion committee. He listed TCU, Houston, SMU, BYU, Utah and Air Force among the potential expansion targets before saying “we’ve talked about a lot of ideas.”

Why in the blue hell would Utah consider leaving the PAC for that mess?

I can't believe I'm responding to this, but there is no way in hell that Utah leaves the Pac 12.

It's going to be a tough sell for some of those schools...the Big 12 will still be perceived as shaky, despite the lip service from the conference's leaders...

I think that the OSU president is basically left out of the fold. They (OUT & UT) aren't telling him anything.

Looks like they forgot to add Colorado and Nebraska to the list. After all everyone wants to join the Big XII. It's the best conference in the land I do reckon.

When TCU becomes a member, does Ken Starr sue TCU on behalf of the Big East?

Listen to T-Boone, not the OSU Pres if you want to know what's happening in Stillwater athletics . Frankly, I don't know why you would even care.

He obviously mis-spoke and had a brain fart and forgot that Utah was no longer part of a crappy conference.

I promise you Utah will not leave the Pac-12, it's the best thing that ever happened to this little school. You should see the Pac-12 swag all over campus, there's a banner right outside my window now.

That's funny right there.

It's pretty bad when not even Utah would touch you with a 10-foot pole.

Come on man, remember the Sugar Bowl following the '08 season? We have the potential to be studly...about once every four years.

UTah?

Or how about LSU-they have an opening for t-day evening next year in Austin. Just join for one year whip their arrogant asses just that once and they will find a way to send you back to the SEC.

and TCU...why leave one imploding conference for another?

But Houston, SMU, BYU, and Air Force would definitely sign up. That gets them into a B(C)S conference.
